We have just found out that our booking at Pardoo Station on the coast of WA has been cancelled.  Pardoo was a direct hit for the category 5 cyclone Ilsa 8 or so weeks ago and they haven’t recovered sufficiently to allow visitors.  Another reorganisation of schedule required.

Today was a travel north day.  There wasn’t a great deal to see along the route.  We crossed the Tropic of Capricorn, stopped at a well and found ourselves at Karlu Karlu just after lunch.

We met back up with Jason and Sue when we arrived and all headed around the main walk.  There were some photography restrictions  imposed on the rocks due to cultural reasons.  Hopefully I have managed to respect that as the requirements were a little vague. I really loved the rocks and formations. There were many more than I was imagining.

Tonight we watched the sunset over the rocks, enjoyed dinner at our fire and played a very enjoyable game of Greed (which Karen won…..not casting any aspersions, though).

Another big travel day tomorrow.  We are heading for Daly Waters Pub for the night.  Anticipating a good night!

No starlink set up tonight will try and post this as we pass through Tennant Creek tomorrow.
