Easy morning today.  Karen & Kieran explored/exercised while we had a lazy breakfast and researched the gorges we will see in the next couple of days and the ever changing road and river conditions reports.

We headed out on a drive late morning to check out the local community store and to see if there were any attractions nearby we could day trip to. After a takeaway lunch and the hottest coffee ever, we headed to a Boab attraction on the Charnley Gorge access road about 30km away. Unfortunately the closure of Charnley for the season means the gate is locked and there is no access at all. Then it was a scenic drive back to Silent Grove, with a couple of photo ops,  for a relaxing afternoon.

While we did This Karen & Kieran rode the 10km in 30 degree heat to Bell Gorge and went for another explore and swim at the gorge.

We followed this up with an easy afternoon of cards and a fire to round off a relaxing day.
