This morning we left El Questro after a last coffee and croissant at the restaurant and me spending even more money on Boab art at the local art gallery. We savoured our last 16km of dirt road (not!) and stopped to reinflate the tyres for hopefully one of the last times.

We headed to Wyndham where we checked out the port, took the obligatory photo at the big croc and headed up to the lookout to see the 5 rivers that all converge at the town. Unfortunately due to burning off, the view was pretty hazy up there, or we could have seen back along the Gibb I reckon.

We headed back to town where the non vego’s had pies for lunch from the local bakery (including croc pies) and then checked out the town sculptures where Karen purchased some boab pod art from the local aboriginal women.

Then it was off to Kunnunurra to set up for the next 3 nights. We have washed the van and car since we arrived, and will need to address the dust inside the car tomorrow. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lagoon about 50m from our sites tonight. Tomorrow we have some serious grocery shopping and a month worth of bits and pieces to shop for as well as the required explore time to fit in.
