This morning we said goodbye to Karen and Kieran early and then headed out on a hike to the Baruwei Lookout.  So many steps to climb up!

We came back and cooled off before jumping on the bikes and attacking the easiest of the trails here.  I didn’t realise that the trails are actually made with jumps and silly tight turns.  It was still more enjoyable than corrugations on a gravel road but not as good as a glass of wine listening to live music along the Gibb….

I have to admit that by the end of the trail I was starting to have some fun, especially as I didn’t fall off 🙂 .  We plan to step up to the next level of trail tomorrow and explore the escarpment if I can manage it.

This evening we spent 4 hours on a multi-gorge and 3 course sunset dinner cruise.  It was really enjoyable.  Our table had another 2 couples and the conversation was flowing all night.  Turns out one of the husbands went to the same high school as me.  The world is so small!
