This morning we arranged to go for a bike ride along the Esplanade and have brekky along the way. We left at 730 and spent then next few hours riding, exploring and eating. We rode the 1 km long Urangan Pier and were back after 34km of riding in time for lunch at the vans.

After lunch, the Scott’s hit the shops, Bob hit the sack and I hit the sand and hiked a couple of km to a lovely cafe/bar with bean bags on the sand overlooking the beach and of course cool bar music. All I need to feel relaxed!

Bob joined me for the later part of the afternoon and we were back at the vans in time for nibbles with the Scott’s overlooking the water. Sunset was pretty cool tonight.

Tomorrow Bob and I have booked a day trip to Fraser Island as we’ve never been there. Karen and Kieran honeymooned there 30 years ago so they have decided to stay in Hervey Bay for the day.
