The light and sound show last night was really interesting. We rode our bikes the 1.5km to save unhitching the cars from the vans, but man it was cold! The show didn’t start until 845pm so it was a late ride home afterwards.

In recently developing news, we are very excited that Jason and Sue are going to be joining us for some of the trip. They are currently part way around their lap and are planning to converge with our itinerary somewhere around Uluru. Bob and Jase were each groomsmen at both of our weddings (30 years ago) and have been in each other’s lives since childhood.

Back to todays travels – we departed Peterborough and beelined the 200 or so km to Wilpena Pound where we will be spending the next few days.

We have spent the afternoon setting up, getting our bearings and watching the sun set at a couple of local lookouts.

Tomorrow we will attack some hikes and see how Bob has pulled up after last week.
