Today was really, really hot! It was 38 deg inside the van this afternoon with all windows and roof hatches open. I’m starting to find the heat oppressive again – I expect the humidity is rising.

This morning we actually set our alarms and headed back out to Bindoola Falls for brekky. It was a lovely sunrise looking out from my spot in bed…

Karen rode 15 or so km towards the ‘falls’ and we picked her up along the way. It was lovely having the gorge to ourselves for brekky and an explore afterwards. I put the drone up and tried again to do some videoing, with better success this time. Quality of the video has been significantly reduced to allow for upload limits on the web page. Kieran was already out exploring by the time I took this.

We then relocated to the Nyarli Waterhole. We abandoned hiking around it as by this stage it was already getting too hot. Kieran threw a line in and snagged a couple of fish for dinner tonight while the rest of us sat on a rock a played singled-handed Canasta. Bob won – stupid game!

We headed back to Home Valley and did a little more exploring before retreating back to camp for lunch. We found a very large hollow and alive Boab down near the river….

This afternoon was spent chilling in the heat. Another pretty sunset for our last night here. Tomorrow we move to El Questro for 4 nights.
